The whole premise of Mor is offering Maternity Coaching to NorthBay Working Moms at no charge. We structured our organization as a 501(c)(3) non-profit and are relying on company donations for funding. The company you work for does not have to be a donor to participate, although we'd love to have them! Check out our FAQs for more info.

HI! I'M BLYTHE.

I am a Working Mom and Coach. I founded Mor after years of dreaming of supporting Working Moms during what can be a pretty crazy time; before and after Mat Leave. I wanted to build a safe place for Moms to share itty bitty Working Mom roadblocks and/or big huge Working Mom career goals. I believe in asking questions that prompt conversation, and deeper understanding, that highlight the personal part of your journey. There is nothing I love more than partnering with Moms through this phase of their careers.

WHAT IS A MATERNITY COACH?

A Maternity Coach is an independent, completely confidential resource who will partner with a Working Mom as they prepare for Maternity Leave and Reentry. Think career coach, life coach.

Maternity Coaching through Mor is totally free for local Working Moms. We are a 501c(3) non-profit and fund our services through sponsorships and donations. 

OUR  PROGRAM INCLUDES:

10 In-Person Maternity Coaching Sessions + Workbook & Reentry Planner
(and a few other additions too)

A typical schedule is outlined below, but all session topics, timelines, and bookings are managed by you with reminders and invitations from Mor. Which means ultimately, you determine what the schedule looks like, how often we meet, and when.

 

Pre-Mat Leave

Typically 4 in-person, 45 minute sessions.

You’ve got a pretty inflexible timeline you are facing. We’ll work with you to make sure you’ve dotted every "i" and crossed every "t" regarding your leave and your new upcoming role as a Working Mom.

We’ll ask the tough questions, and the easy ones, to make sure you’ve worked through a bunch of stuff before you head out on leave and that your company is supporting you as well. 

Leave

Totally up to you.

You’ll may want to just focus on Momming. Contact with Mor is totally up to you during this stage. Have some questions? Need some resources? Nervous about going back? Reach out and schedule one of your sessions. Or don’t. Either way, we’ll definitely be there when you get back to work. 

Post-Mat Leave.

Typically 6 in-person, 45 minute sessions, + 5(ish) digital check-ins.

We are all about you. Nothing is off-limits in this sacred and safe, totally confidential space. Work. Life. Parenting.

Coaching sessions and communication are more concentrated when you first return and taper off about 4-6 months post Reentry.

   Fully understanding your individual situation.

    Finalizing plans and logistics.

    Creating a vision for your Working Mom narrative.
